Around the midst of July 2024, users began to notice various spam accounts underneath the comments section of Machine Girls' MG Ultra tour announcement posts of that same year.
[Instagram post 1], [Instagram post 2].
Pictured below are some of the comments I was able to dig up:
The goal of these replies were to draw attention to "Piper.khz," and as the name and comments would suggest, Piper appeared to be developing a device that would allow users to desirably alter the behavior of their dog.
Because of Pipers' accounts now being compromised, here is an Instagram story covering their "mission" as well two archive links if you would like to check them out. Just note that some of these articles I will have yet to cover in this summarization, so if you would like to read along with the narrative, be sure to only check the blog articles between the dates of each part attached.

As if this information wasn't concerning by itself, Piper also followed, interacted with, and reposted from various accounts which would heighten suspicion regarding their true intentions with developing this sort of technology. Here are some examples that came from their Twitter/X account, the official MG account notably standing among them.
Despite the concern of all concepts involved, users would follow and "play along" with the account to see where things would lead.
As discussion surrounding the account continued, a forum was made in the MG Discord for the discussion of Piper on 07/20/2024. Then, the official ARG channel would be created 4 days later, which would host most of the discussion pertaining to it to this day.
I'd also like to mention that the phantomdoom.com sendi chat was also a place of discussion for the ARG that is more open, official, and anonymous. The site will be further explained in Act II, but personally I would like to see it utilized more (:
